This characteristic, coupled with its breathability, and the fact that it does not trap water, makes it ideal for protecting respirators. Soft, lightweight and comfortable. Silk glides as opposed to rubbing against and snagging on the skin. You won't even notice it is there. Non irritant. Non moisture absorbent, making it suitable for prolonged wear.Silk is the best to wear if you have sensitive and problem skin, or are worried about the dreaded maskne. Silk face masks are also gentler on your skin compared with polyester or other types of face masks, and are more breathable than multi-layer cotton.
